Ottawa International Airport

Ottawa/Macdonald–Cartier International Airport or Macdonald–Cartier International Airport, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is named after Sir John A. Macdonald and Sir George-Étienne Cartier. The Ottawa International Airport Authority manages, operates, maintains and invests in the Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport under a long term lease with the federal government. The Airport Authority  is a non-share capital, community-based corporation. It is fully self sufficient, receiving no government funding whatsoever. Further, airport activity generates approximately one-quarter of a billion dollars in taxes for the three levels of government and has a total economic impact of $2.2 billion each year.
